Silas “Warmonger” Williams made his Fight For It debut at Fight For It IV, where he lost by judges’ decision to David Ciuclea. Despite the loss, though, the Lake Norman Muay Thai heavyweight showcased some slick head movement and smart angling, as well as crisp counter striking and unflagging gameness that made the scrap an exciting one through all three rounds. If he brings that same intensity to this bout, it’ll be one to watch, no matter the outcome.
Alex Estep comes into the ring with a handful of MMA bouts under his belt, including both a win and a loss by way of a referee stoppage due to strikes. Formerly trained under Roger Carroll, Estep is now training at Atlantic MMA and looking to sharpen his stand-up game with this bout. How he adjusts to the shorter rounds and limited rule-set could determine his success against the “Warmonger,” but either way, this one’s shaping up to be an exciting scrap.
