After very narrowly escaping a slick series of submission attacks from his more experienced opponent Kevin Peraza (1-1), the debuting Austin Tucker fought his way to mount where he would dominate the remainder of the fight. Raining blows from the mount and threatening the choke from the back mount, Tucker kept Peraza pinned to the mat, constantly on the defensive. With the judges’ decision going in his favor, Tucker earns his first win in the cage and 3 points toward the 2019 Fight For It MMA Grand Prix. Peraza slips to 1-2.
