Top Ten Heavyweights Marquell Fulwood-Jones & Kevin “Sasquatch” Satterfield Collide at Fight for It VII

Marquell Fulwood-Jones should be riding high after a round one KO victory over David Ciuclea at Fight For It VI back in May. With a 2-2 record all battled on Fight For It cards, he’s become one of the promotion’s most active fighters and has notched six points in the 2019 Fight For It MMA Grand Prix. The Atlantic MMA-trained Fulwood-Jones has also taken on competitors in boxing to further hone his skills and earn his spot as Tapology’s No. 8 amateur heavyweight in North Carolina.

But the No. 9 North Carolina-based amateur heavyweight, Kevin “Sasquatch” Satterfield, poses a unique challenge. Advancing his amateur record to 2-2 with a unanimous decision victory over Darian Perry in April, Satterfield is motivated to tip his record back in the win column. Stylistically, Sasquatch is as game to stand and bang as any heavyweight, but he’s also got surprising speed and agility for a big man. With his boxing chops honed by coach Matt Jenkins and grappling under Cody Maltais, the Elevate MMA Academy purple belt has shown steady evolution in his skillset throughout his camp.
