For two rounds, Sosha Rockwood and Carma Radford seemed content to stand and bang, trading heavy exchanges marked by Rockwood’s constant pressure and Radford’s heavy counters. And it seemed as though Radford was making the most of those exchanges, landing hard, precise shots throughout both rounds. But seconds into round 3, Rockwood caught a clinch, took the back, and battled her way into a tight rear naked choke, getting the tap and an additional 4 points in the 2019 Fight For It MMA Grand Prix. This moves Rockwood to 2-0 with 9 Grand Prix points, while Radford slips to 2-1.
