Fighting out of KickFit in Salisbury, NC, Kaz Ivanov will have strong support in his debut kickboxing bout, with teammate Aaron Castro (2-1) also fighting on the Fight For It XII. His opponent, Halstun White will be the sole representative of Moreno BJJ on the card. But the focused attention may be a benefit, as well.
As with any clash of debuting fighters, this will be a testing ground as each man works to find his range and figure out which techniques work best for them in the heat of competition. It’s bound to be an exciting puzzle for each to figure out, but with so much unknown, it’s difficult to claim a clear advantage for either.
