Fight for It 21 returns to the Grady Cole Center in Uptown Charlotte, NC, on Saturday, July 27th, bringing an electrifying lineup of combat sports. One of the evening’s must-see matchups is the professional MMA showdown between Josh Doster and Jake Valdes in the 170lb division.
Josh Doster, representing North Carolina, is stepping into the cage with a professional record of 0-1. Despite a rocky start, Doster is determined to turn things around, leveraging his strong amateur background where he held a record of 4-2. Known for his knockout power and striking skills, Doster has finished half of his amateur victories by TKO in the first round, making him a formidable opponent.
Opposing Doster is Jake Valdes, also known as “Smooth Operator.” Valdes is making his professional debut, but his amateur record of 4-1 speaks volumes about his capabilities. Impressively, all of Valdes’ wins came via first-round finishes. Although he fights out of North Carolina, Valdes has competed in various states and was ranked 7th among 57 active Colorado Amateur Welterweights, proving his versatility and skill.
Fans can look forward to a high-energy, intense battle as Doster and Valdes go head-to-head in pursuit of victory.
