Rock Bottom Boxing’s J’Courtney Williams wasted no time putting the pressure on the U.S. Marine Corps boxer Xaveon Pickering when the two met at Fight For It IX. Williams’ aggressive pressure and longer reach overwhelmed the Marine, who struggled to find his way to the inside without taking damage on the way. Though both heavyweights showed their grit in extended exchanges in the pocket, Williams landed the heavier blows and, ultimately, scored the TKO win 39 seconds into round two.
