Beyond The Finish

Analytical Study of The Revenant

The MAD Coach reaches out to Dee Reddick after his recent pro win

Coach Ses Interviews Dee “The Revenant” Reddick

Coach Ses:
Dee “The Revenant” Reddick! This is Coach Ses, the MAD Coach. Hey look man, send me a short blurb about how you felt going into this fight, during the fight, and after the fight. I saw the picture with Booker T too — I’m jealous! Just give me something I can build an article around. And listen… you’re still our Fight For It champion no matter what anybody says. Appreciate you, brother.

Dee Reddick:
What’s good, Coach Ses! Sorry about the delay, brother. I’ve got to do better at managing my Facebook Messenger notifications.

Going into the fight, we felt like the schedule we constructed through my amateur career and first two pro fights put us in a position where I could really showcase the full extent of everything we’ve been working on. My opponent was talented, but we believed we had the right tools for him.

Honestly, though, I don’t feel like I showed everything we put into this camp. I personally wanted a more dominant and aggressive finish, especially with so many people back home watching, but it just didn’t play out that way. Still, I didn’t take much damage, so hopefully we can get back on some local shows soon and keep the momentum going.

And nobody told me Booker T was there until after the fight! If I had known, I would’ve hit a Spinneroonie in the cage or something 😂

Always good hearing from you, Coach. Hope all is well.
