SHOW ME THE MONEY!

One could argue that Ilia Topuria should have received a larger bonus for being the first man to knock out Max Holloway. Holloway is known for having one of the most durable chins in UFC history, and Topuria’s feat was both historic and impressive. Given the magnitude of the accomplishment, many would say that a larger bonus would not only recognize the significance of the win but also reflect Topuria’s growing status as a star in the featherweight division.

UFC bonuses are typically given to highlight standout performances, and knocking out a fighter as tough as Holloway could warrant more than the standard $50,000, especially considering its potential impact on the division and Topuria’s undefeated streak.

Speaking of standout performances. Don’t miss Fight For It 23.  It goes down at the Grady Cole Center, Charlotte NC,  Saturday, December 14th. What better way to pre-game the holidays than with an epic night of live cage fights in the Queen City?
