Charlotte roared when Trukon Carson and Josh Doster hit the cage. From the opening bell, it felt like a classic “explosive power vs. granite chin” matchup: Carson’s explosive finishing power versus Doster’s durability and ability to absorb damage.

Early in the exchange, Carson landed a sharp, straight punch that immediately shifted the momentum. Not long after, Carson locked up a guillotine choke. Doster tried to fight out of it by lifting and driving — attempting a slam to break the choke — but in the scramble, the sequence went badly for him. Either the slam and impact with the canvas or the choke itself rendered Doster unconscious: he stopped moving, and Carson’s guillotine finish was complete. It looked sudden — a violent, decisive ending consistent with Carson’s history of extremely quick finishes at Fight For It.

Post-finish, there was discussion in the commentary, corners, and in the audience, about the mechanics of the ending: did Doster effectively knock himself out by slamming and hitting his head, or did the guillotine finish him cleanly? Either way, Carson’s aggressiveness and finishing instincts closed the show quickly.
